Press ⌃⌥N, write on the pad, and drop the sheet right on the page it is about.
Switch tabs and the right note is already there. It follows the page, not the tab.
Put a checklist on the file you work on. It waits there until you open it again.
Drag the window anywhere. The note stays glued to its spot.
A note hides when its window goes behind, and comes back when the window is in front.
Leave the comment on the mockup itself, next to the thing it is about.
Tick the last item, then pull a corner back across the note, like a real sticker. Undo stays for 5 seconds.
Click Sticky in the menu bar or press ⌃⌥N. A pad of notes opens. Type on the top sheet.
Peel the sheet off the pad and drop it on any window, or on a page in Safari or Chrome.
The note moves with its window and hides when you switch away. It comes back when the window does, even after a restart.
Stick a note on a page in Safari or Chrome. It shows on that page in any tab. Widen it to a part of the site, or the whole site.
Pick a color under the pad. Each note gets a small tilt from how you drop it. Double-click the top strip to fold it.
Peel a note by its corner to move it. Peel it all the way off and drop it away from any window to remove it. Undo is there for 5 seconds.
Bold, italic, strikethrough, links, bullet lists and checklists, each with a keyboard shortcut.
The Notes window shows every note, also the ones whose window is not open. Search them, edit them, and restore deleted ones for 30 days.
When Sticky is not sure which window a note belongs to, it hides the note and asks you. A hidden note is better than a lost one.
Your notes live in one file on your Mac. There is no account, no sync and no cloud.
Sticky reads window titles and the address of the page you look at, on your Mac only. It never records your screen or your keys.
Sticky goes online only to check for a new version and to download it. It sends nothing about you or your notes.
A menu bar app, with no Dock icon. It can open at login, so your notes are there after each restart.
Signed with a Developer ID and checked by Apple. Downloaded from this site, outside the Mac App Store.
Sticky checks for a new version once a day and installs it quietly when you quit.
Sticky is almost ready. Soon you can put your first note where it belongs.
